Meet Gretchen!

I'm a classy lady, and love the good things in life. My mom calls me her 40mph couch potato!! I'm originally from Germany, and I came over to America with my former owner, and he couldn't care for me any longer, so, I ended up with this rescue. My original name was Zatchin, which means "daughter of the rising sun" in German. Mom wanted me to sound American, so she changed it to Gretchen. Sounds the same, so I don't get confused. I know German commands, and I'm very obedient. I know American too, guess you can call me a bilingual dog! :o)

My friend Barkley is the best! We run after imaginary squirrels and chase the air planes. I have a Winnie the Pooh blankie , and I love to cuddle up with it at night on my bed. Barkley sleeps across from me, and he thinks I'm a baby, but I AM! I'm Momma's baby! And I KNOW IT!

My favorite thing to do is chase the cats. I like to play with my friend Cole the cat because he chases me back. The other cats don't want anything to do with me. But Cole and I play a lot.

I like my family, I am very happy. I go all over with them because like to ride in the truck, and I'm a real good girl. I have my moments, but who doesn't?

Thanks for stopping by to meet me!

Love,
Gretchen
