Meet Allie!

Dear Aunt Ellen and Aunt Vicki,

First, I would like to thank you! Thank you for saving my mom’s life, which in turn saved my siblings, and myself and has allowed me to have a great happy life! I love you both and you will always be in my heart!!!

I have been with my new family since late May of 2009. I have to say I love it here. My sister Jade and I get along wonderful. Shortly after I came home, my mom and dad had their friends over. The woman Stacey said to me “man Allie you don’t know how good you have it living with Brian and Dawn”. Well, now I know what she means. We get eggs 'over easy' for breakfast in the morning.  Every time mommy goes to the grocery store, she brings us home a present. Anytime we want a treat, mommy or daddy gives it to us. They tuck us in every night during the winter, in case we get cold. My poor cheeks are always pinched…(mom’s Italian lol), and kisses??!! Oh my goodness, sometimes Jade and I will moan at our parents because we get so many kisses.  I do have to say we are spoiled rotten and love every minute of it! We have this big backyard we get to run around and play in. Guess what?! I got to see snow for the first time. I didn’t know what to make of it…my mom chuckled because she thought I was so cute. Well, we had snow more then once this winter and Jade and I were playing in it. We had such a great time!

My mom and dad get a kick out of me smiling at them…my mom calls me ‘Smiley’ sometimes.

I love lying on the couch at night. I usually will lie on mommy unless Jade is there, and then I lie on daddy.  They think I am funny when I watch TV with them. One time we were watching the dog show and I was intrigued by the TV.

I can write so much more, but I wanted to give you an update and let you know how happy I am.

Love,
Allie
