Referral Dogs The dogs listed on this page are not in the custody or control of, nor have they been evaluated by, Doberman Rescue of NC, Inc. We list these dogs as an occasional courtesy to other rescues and placement
organizations. Please *do not* contact DRNC regarding these dogs as we know nothing about their health, veterinary care, temperaments or adoption fees. Rather, contact the custodian listed for each dog.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Meet Gracie! Gracie is approximately 5 - 6 years old. She is spayed and up to date on all her vaccines. She is a very special girl, abandoned by a breeder to a rescue, and needs someone with a big heart who is ready to love, be loved and have a gentle well behaved girl. Gracie is most likely a fawn Doberman. Because of her coloring she looks remarkably like a Weimaraner which is why the rescue that had her contacted us to try to find this sweet lady a home. Once we met Gracie there was no way we couldn't help. Gracie has a couple of medical concerns. She has very thin hair (no shedding!) but more importantly does have a neurological condition which has left her blind in her left eye, and she has what appears at times to be a limp on her left side, but is just a part of her. She never lets any of it slow her down. Gracie asks that you please consider her, even with her ailments, for a loving home. She promises she will love and cherish you every day. She is housebroken, does not chew and can have free reign in your home and will not be destructive. After her start in life of living strictly to produce babies for a breeder, she now seeks a place to rest her head and give all the love in her heart. Gracie will do well with your children, your dog-friendly cat and all dogs. She simply asks you to please to give her a chance to find the happiness that she deserves!
